2nd Annual Turkey Trot: Thursday, Nov 28th
What: A community charity 4K walk/run hosted by St. Patrick Catholic Church of Merna in Bloomington that benefits local families in need.
When: Thursday, November 28th (Thanksgiving Day), at approximately 9:15 a.m., directly following 8:30 a.m. mass. All are welcome to celebrate Mass with us and to wear your walking/running shoes!
Where: After mass, we will gather at Patrick Church of Merna, 1001 N Towanda Barnes Rd, Bloomington, IL 61705, and proceed to the event route.
Why: Helping the poor can be a healthy holiday tradition for your family. All proceeds benefit St. Vincent De Paul, a local non-profit organization that works to help local families in need.
An entrance fee is not required, but a goodwill donation is appreciated. All funds collected will offset event costs; anything additional will go directly to the St. Vincent De Paul Society in Bloomington, IL. Dollars will help our community members in need. Commemorative t-shirts can be purchased with early registration.
