2nd Annual Turkey Trot Scheduled!
What: A community charity 4K walk/run hosted by St. Patrick Catholic Church of Merna in Bloomington that benefits local families in need. When: Thursday, November 28th (Thanksgiving Day), at approximately 9:15 a.m., directly following 8:30 a.m. mass. All are welcome to celebrate Mass with us and to wear your walking/running shoes! Where: After mass, we will gather at Patrick Church of Merna, 1001 N Towanda Barnes Rd, Bloomington, IL 61705, and proceed to the event route Why: Helping the poor can be a healthy holiday tradition for your family. All proceeds benefit St. Vincent De Paul, a local non-profit organization that works to help local families in need. Who: This event is for everyone, you can run, walk, or simply come and enjoy this charitable event. How: An easy, online sign-up form will be available soon! How Much: An entrance fee is not required, but a goodwill donation is appreciated. All funds collected will offset event costs and anything additional will go directly to the St. Vincent De Paul Society in Bloomington, IL. Dollars will help our community members in need.
