Start your Thanksgiving Day off with an amazing new tradition –a 4K Turkey Trot! The event will be held on Thursday, November 23rd (Thanksgiving Day) at 9:15 a.m. directly following the 8:30 mass service at St. Patrick of Merna Church in Bloomington, 1001 N Towanda Barnes Rd, Bloomington, IL 61705.
All proceeds from the event will benefit the St. Vincent De Paul Society. The nonprofit organization helps those who are struggling with basic housing and utility bills by offering financial help, community resource information, prayer and fellowship. The organization is comprised of volunteers who field calls, visit those in need, and carefully distribute resources.
All those who participate are asked to register in advance using the online form below. This event is for everyone, you can run, walk, or simply come and enjoy this charitable 4K event. You do not have to be a member of St. Patrick of Merna or any church to attend. All are welcome!
The entry fee is a donation of any kind. Non-perishable food items will also be accepted. No donation is too big or too small and will be appreciated. Optional long-sleeved commemorative t-shirts can be ordered if registering by 11/5; cost is $20. Please contact Lindsey at
